The DM602 S2 is a 2-way vented-box system. The woven Kevlar cone of the bass/midrange driver virtually eliminates audible distortions caused by cone breakup and the aluminum dome tweeter produces an amazingly open sound. The high quality cabinets are attractively finished in a Black Ash. In addition to the double layer front baffle construction, described for the DM601 S2, the cabinet has additional internal bracing to minimize coloration from panel vibrations.
